COMPETITION GUIDELINES Step-by-Step Guide to Join the Competition. Follow these steps to the letter.

STEP 1: REGISTRATION AND PREPARATION

  1. Register. If you do not register, you will not have access to the quiz. You can register/sign up here.
  2. log in. After registration, you need to log in to have access to the resource material.
  3. scroll to the bottom of the site and watch the video attached to the competition for the week. You must access the video directly from this site, else you will not be able to proceed as admin will not grant you access to the quiz. After watching the video, click on “I have watched and commented.” You may need to wait for a couple of hours for admin to verify. Sometimes, the videos are scheduled to be watched on a certain date and time. In that case, you must join the list of those waiting for the video to go live on the specified date and time. You must make sure you tie in to watch the video when it is live.

Step 2: HOW TO WRITE THE QUIZ


  1. on the day of the competition, make sure you log in to your account. Click here to log in.
  2. Click on “PROFILE” at the top right corner of the site.
  3. Click on “My Resource Materials”. There you’ll find the Competition ID, description and a downloadable material that contains information about the competition. You may choose to download the material and have more insight into the competition. This document often contains adjustments to the rules (if there are any, and any other relevant news you need to know hours before the competition kicks off). Those who download and read the extra info in that document have been found to do better in previous competitions.
  4. Click on “Exams”. (If you’re on mobile, you may need to scroll to the right to see the icon labelled “Exams”.
  5. Click on “Action”. (Again, if you’re on mobile, you may need to scroll a little to the right to find the icon).
  6. Click on “Attempt Exam”.
  7. Take your quiz. Remember to be as fast as possible as speed and correctness are the key factors.
  8. You’ll have your scores once you submit your answers, but you need to stay tunned for the general results to be announced.
